Watch List notes:

George III (1760-1820), Halfpenny, 1774, first issue. Tower (London) mint, laureate and cuirassed bust right, legend surrounds GEORGIVS III REX. Rev, Britannia seated left on globe, holding olive branch and sceptre, shield to right, reads BRITAN-NI?, (S.3774; BMC.907). A scarcer year in the series, chocolate brown surfaces with comprehensive detail throughout, few contact marks. Good very ?ne, a pleasant example.
