SCANDINAVIA. Anglo-Danish. Rectangular bronze belt mount. 9th-10th centuries AD. (4 cm). With a motif of a gripping beast biting itself in the midsection. Very typical Oseberg style. Two mounting tang fragments present on back. Worn but classical design. Green and brown patina, some roughness. Website shipping rates do not apply.
