SCANDINAVIA. Anglo-Danish. Small bronze belt mount. 9th-10th centuries AD. (16 mm). In a shield form, probably for a horse mount. On the reverse, a single pin fragment for mounting. On the face, a central outlined area and border of rounded finials and hatched edges. Very worn decoration on face. Green and brown patina, some roughness. Website shipping rates do not apply.
