SCANDINAVIA. Anglo-Danish. Bronze stirrup mout. 9th-10th centuries AD. (3.7 cm). With two piercings and pin fragments at base and a single loop at the top point of the mount. On the face of the mount, a bearded man facing forward. Brown and green patina, some roughness, traces of earthen deposits. Some slight damage around back mounts. Rare and interesting.
