LYCAONIA, Iconium(?). Circa 2nd century AD. Æ (13mm, 1.71 g). Harpa / Cornucopia. Leu Web Auction 7, lot 895; Leu Web Auction 16, lot 2945; Agora Auctions 100, lot 70 (all from same dies), otherwise unpublished. Green patina, edge deposits. VF. Very rare.
Though lacking an ethnic, this coin is probably a small denomination issue of Iconium, which featured the hero Perseus and his harpa on many of its bronzes. Additionally, the fabric is fairly similar to a small bronze of Hadrian from the city (RPC III 2825).
