PRESIDENT, bar ehead left / CITY AND GUILDS OF LONDON INSTITUTE + TECHNICAL EUCATION, ornate tablet inscribed TECHNOLOGICAL/EXAMINATION in two lines, with banner inscribed ORDINARY above; all surmounted by civic arms; ornate decoration below. Edge engraved: ROBERT BAREFOOT, WATCH & CLOCK MAKING, 2ND PRIZE 1890. BHM –; Eimer 1764. Brown surfaces with hints of purple toning, a few spots. EF.
