ETRUSCAN. Bronze cup. Circa 400-200 BC. (5.6 cm). Simple votive cup with clearly defined foot, tear-shaped body, and squat neck which terminates in folded lip. On the neck under the rim is the inscribed: ANIOVM (Shuthina, in reverse, meaning "sepulchral"), an inscription indicating the object was meant to be placed in a tomb.
