ROMAN. Cast lead figure of a soldier riding an elephant. 1st-3rd centuries AD. (About 4 cm long and high). The soldier wears fancy armor, right arm raised, sitting on a war elephant marching right, his trunk raised upward over left eye. Displayed on modern painted black square wooden stand.
