ANCIENT NEAR EAST. Steatite cachet. Circa late 3rd millenium BC. (13 mm x 21 mm). Early Syrian type cachet with both a cylinder and stamp seal component. Pierced for suspension. The cylinder is adorned with a chevron pattern, while the stamp seal is a double eye patter. Dark brown with earthen deposits. About as made. Website shipping rates do not apply.
