Thrace, Byzantion AV Stater. In the name and types of Lysimachos, circa 190-175 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander to right, wearing horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, resting elbow on grounded shield, transverse spear behind; ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to right, ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ crowned by Nike to left, MHN monogram to inner left, BY on throne, ornate trident to left in exergue. Marinescu Issue 99, 238 var. (O92/R- [unlisted rev. die]); Müller -; Seyrig Monnaies -; HGC 3.2, 1381. 8.53g, 19mm, 12h.

NGC graded Ch VF 5/5 - 1/5, brushed, scratches, edge filing (#6158069-012). Extremely Rare; only three examples known to Marinescu, the first to come to auction since 1990.
