NEAPOLIO IMPERATOR., laureate head to left; GALLE FECIT. below truncation / TVTELA PRAESENS, Napoléon, in the attire of a Roman Emperor, seated to right, addressed by a turreted and draped female figure representing the City of Paris; behind her, the ship of Paris guided by a genius with eyes fixed on the star of Napoléon in upper central field; PRUDHON DEL. and JEUFFROY FEC to left and right on ground line, EPVLVM SOLLEMNE IMPERATORIS IN CVRIA VRBANA. FRIM. A. XIII. in three lines in exergue. Bramsen 358. 161.81g, 68mm, 12h.

Mint State; attractive old cabinet tone, beautiful example of an exceptionally large medal with a strong symbolic design. Rare in silver.
