Dies by Droz and Andrieu; Denon, mintmaster. NAPOLEON EMP. ET ROI., laureate head to right; DROZ FECIT on neck truncation, DENON DIREXT MDCCCVI in two lines below / Napoléon riding to right on horseback, raising hand, before soldiers advancing to left and saluting him, all on bridge with river god pouring water from urn into river below; Victory flying to left above, holding palm and crowning Napoléon with wreath; ALLOCUTION L'ARMEE L'ARMÉE FAIT SERMENT DE VIANCRE XII OCTOBRE MDCCCV in three lines in exergue above DENON DIREC.
