France, First Empire. Napoléon I AR Octagonal Medal. Bearing the monograph of Paul-Henri Marron, President of the Paris Consistorium. 1810. Dies by Droz. NAPOLEON EMPEREUR ET ROI, laureate head to left; DROZ F. below neck truncation / PHM monograph within oval cartouche surrounded by olive branch to left and oak branch to right, surmounted by lamp and with medal of the Legion d'Honneur suspended. Bramsen 1061. 18.31g, 33mm, 12h.

Fleur De Coin; highly attractive old cabinet tone with marine hues dominating the obv. and red-gold, violet and blue on the rev. Very Rare in silver.
