France, Kingdom (restored), temp. Louis XVIII. Napoléon I Æ Medal. Commemorating the death of Napoléon on St. Helena. Dated 5 May 1821. Dies by Brenet. Laureate head to right / Mourning Victory kneeling and embracing tomb inscribed N and surmounted with veiled funerary urn, placing wreath, palm and broken sceptre at its foot and holding crown and trumpet behind it with other hand; smoking cannon lying on ground in background to right, crown of stars above, BRENET INV. ET FEC. to left; MORT DE NAPOLEON A L'ILE SAINT HÉLÈNE V. MAI MDCCCXXI. in three lines in exergue. Bramsen 1841. 31.76g, 40mm, 12h.
