Bolivia
Charles IV gold Escudo 1791 PTS-PR XF45 NGC, Potosi mint, KM74, Cal-1175, Asbun-Karmy-C1129. Laureate bust type. A very scarce one-year transitional bust type, with this being both the sole representative we have handled, as well as an issue that was not present in the Eliasberg Collection. Relatively gently handled on the whole, the specimen still retains virtually full detail, with NGC reporting that this is the only example they have yet certified.
