To mark Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the 2022 Sovereign features a new interpretation of the Royal Coat of Arms created by the esteemed artist Timothy Noad. The Sovereign is synonymous with Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the dragon and changes from this design often mark special moments in history such as The Queen's Golden, Diamond and Platinum Jubilees. This coin is a must have for any Sovereign collector and whilst this edition carries a special privy mark to commemorate The Queen's 70 years as monarch, it also marks 65 years of since the production of Queen Elizabeth II Sovereigns began.
