The Islamic Council of Europe has its headquarters in London and was established to coordinate the work of Islamic centres and organizations in Europe, especially with regard to Islamic arbitration, conciliation and mediation. They also issued a medal in 1977 to commemorate the Islamic Council of Europe Economic Conference held in London.
