George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1720 over 18 [over 6] SEXTO, laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, lettered edge upwards, 30.02g, 6h (Bull 1543; ESC 113; Spink 3639), scattered and heavy flecking on both sides, otherwise naturally toned, struck details very fine, the reverse bolder.
The overdate is slightly obscured, however the reverse die is the same as the previous coin, on which the overdate is very clear.
