Oliver Cromwell, Halfcrown, 1658, laureate and draped bust left, legend reads HIB, rev. crowned shield, lettered edge, 15.00g, 6h (Bull 252; ESC 447; Spink 3227A), rubbed only on the high points, apart from one or two small marks in the reverse field the surfaces are problem free with lustre under attractive steel grey toning, a strong good very fine.
