Charles II (1660-1685), Halfcrown, 1677 VICESIMO NONO, fourth laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, eight strings to harp, lettered edge, 14.94g, 6h (Bull 475; ESC 479; Spink 3367), slight rubbing on the high points of the king's curls, superb toning with a hint of lustre coming through, almost extremely fine, a very attractive coin and rare in this condition.
