George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Halfcrown, 1735 OCTAVO, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, lettered edge, 15.05g, 6h (Bull 1677; ESC 598; Spink 3692), tiny flecks of haymarking, toned and lustrous, a pleasingly good very fine.
