Qing Dynasty. Wen Zong (Xian Feng) 10 Cash ND (1853-1854) XF, Guiyang or Dading mint (Kweichow Province), KM-C20-5, Hartill-22.841, Shanghai Museum-2038. 38mm. 13.90gm. By all indications a much rarer mint than Hartill's value rating would suggest, with our research turning up just one other specimen having come up for auction in recent years; that piece--certified 85 by HuaXia--brought $3800 in 2019. This specimen demonstrates a cocoa brown patina to the surfaces with sandy highlights along the characters, creating a strong visual contrast.
