Qing Dynasty. Wen Zong (Xian Feng) 50 Cash ND (May-August 1854) Certified 82 by Gong Bo Grading, Prince Qing Hui mint, KM-C1-7.2, Hartill-22.716. Shanghai Museum-1713. 41.7mm. 30.8gm. With "sun and moon" marks on reverse. A scarce 4-month emission produced to pay the local army, with this being the first such example we have seen. Brassy on the whole, with a slightly cleaned appearance and some minor traces of tooling in contained areas around the characters.
