During World War II, the India Security Press printed notes for East Africa and Iraq, as the traditional British printers could either not print or ship orders. This is the lowest denomination of the India print series, and it is very rare in any grade. E/1 is the only prefix known for this type. It must be noted that severed and re-attached notes are sometimes seen, which were put together from cancelled stock. Extremely collectible as Royal Portrait Iraqi notes are as popular as ever. PMG mentions "Repaired".
