Greek Italy. Southern Lucania, Thurium. AR Stater, c. 350-300 BC. Obv. Head of Athena right, wearing Attic helmet decorated with Scylla; ΣΙ on neckguard. Rev. Bull butting right; in exergue, grasshopper(?). HGC 1 1262. AR. 6.45 g. 21.00 mm. Interesting issue with symbol grasshopper, apparently unpublished. Good VF/VF.
