KINGS of ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires III, with Anzaze. Circa 82/1-73/2 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 15.27 g, 12h). Seleukeia on the Hedyphon mint. Dated SE 232 (81/0 BC). Conjoined busts of Kamnaskires III, diademed and draped bust and wearing long beard and torque, and Anzaze, draped and wearing stephane and necklace, left; anchor symbol to right / Zeus-Belos enthroned left, holding scepter and Nike, who stands right and holds palm fronds; MAKEΔΩN to inner left; date in exergue. Cf. van't Haaff Type 7.1 (for type); Alram 454 var. (date unlisted); DCA 519 var. (same). Minor porosity, a few scratches, reverse die rust. VF. Rare without the usual tooling seen on this issue.
