SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. 1st Century BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 15.06 g, 12h). In the name and types of the Seleucid king Philip I Philadelphus. Dated year 19 of the Caesarean Era (31/0 BC). Diademed head of Philip I right within fillet border / Zeus Nicephorus seated left; monogram to inner left and below throne, ΘI (date) and thunderbolt in exergue; all within wreath. McAlee 12; Prieur 13; RPC I 4136; SC 2491.9. Toned with areas of find patina, granular surfaces, a few scratches. Good VF.
