EGYPT, Alexandria. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Drachm (34mm, 24.50 g, 12h). Dated RY 21 (AD 136/7). Laureate and draped bust right, seen from behind / Sphinx seated right on ground line, wearing kalathos on head, left forepaw on wheel; L in left filed, KA (date) in exergue. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 7909 var. (obv. bust bareheaded, sphinx left); K&G 32.751 var. (same); RPC III 6203A var. (date arrangement); Emmett 1054.21 (R5). Brown patina with green highlights, a few flan cracks. Good Fine. Very rare variety.
