GEN:, draped, three-quarters bust right, 32.95g, 36mm, (Lessen, BNJ 1979, pp. 93, Gp B and pl. xvii, 9, this piece; Eimer 180a; MI I 388/7), a Royal Mint restrike struck from Simon's badly cracked die for the earlier unfinished oval medal c. 1738, with usual horizontal die crack, otherwise lightly toned, extremely fine.
