Kempson, GOD SAVE THE KING, an angel defends a plaque bearing the portrait of the King, rev. PRESERVED FROM ASSASSINATION, crown below a radiant sun within a wreath inscribed GOD GIVE PRAISE; below, MAY 15 1800, 38mm, 27.85g (BHM 486), a handful of contact marks to reverse, otherwise with glass-like and lustrous surfaces, hints of toning, bolder very fine.
