Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp, Luna and Sol; Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp, Luna and Sol, ca. 1st-2nd Century AD. An intricate lamp featuring a bearded Sol and crowned Luna on the discus. The shoulder bears an elaborate pattern of grape vines and clusters. The facing figures are draped and adorned with radiate crown and lunar crescent.
