Obverse: In the centre - the relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation (a two-headed spread eagle with wings up crowned with two small crowns and - over them - with a big one connected by a strip. The eagle holds a sceptre in his dexter talon and an orb in the sinister talon. Upon its breast on a shield - a knight in the cloak sitting on the horseback slaying a dragon toppled over and trampled by the horse); above - the semicircular inscription along the rim: РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed on both sides by ornamental elements of doubled rhombuses, inscriptions in the lower part of the disc; to the left of the heraldic eagle - indicating the precious metal and its fineness; to the right - indicating the fine metal content and the mint trade mark; on bottom at the edge - inscription: 50 РУБЛЕЙ (50 RUBLES) and the date: 2014 г. (2014) under it. Reverse: In the centre of the matted disc - the relief image of four sportsmen in a bob-luge driving down the track; which is framed by snow-drifts at both sides. In the background - the distant mountains; below - five Olympic rings; under them at the rim - the inscription made by the technique 'proof': СОЧИ 2014 (SOCHI 2014). Gold 7.84g. Y 1300
