THRACE, Byzantion. Circa 90-80 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32.5mm, 15.04 g, 11h). In the name and types of Lysimachos. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; monogram to inner left, BY below throne, ornate trident in exergue. Callataÿ Group 3, obv. die D33 corr. (monogram); Müller –; HGC 3, 1406. Bright surfaces, some die wear. Good VF.
