Antiquities from Various Properties

Celtic, a bronze dagger pommel, 1st century BC, male bust moulded in the round with straight grooves for the hair and an oval face with incised lines forming the eyes and mouth; at the base, which is elliptical, are the remains of the iron tang of the dagger, 37mm x 23mm; together with a small head of Silenus with a spike behind for attachment [2]. Both fine £60-£80
