SICILY, Selinos. Circa 455-409 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 16.96 g, 2h). Artemis, holding reins, driving quadriga left; beside her, Apollo standing left, drawing bow / River god Selinos, nude, standing left, holding phiale over altar to left, and cradling palm branch in arm; before altar, cock standing left; to right, selinon leaf above bull standing left on basis. Lightly toned, struck from worn dies, minor marks on obverse, double struck on reverse. VF.
