Brazil (Rio mint), 4000 reis, Joao V, 1717-RRRR, encapsulated NGC AU 58, second finest known in NGC census. Russo-169; KM-102. Superb full mint luster and no wear at all but with high points slightly flat (weak strike), faint scratch inside crown, a very flashy and attractive coin overall. Pedigreed to the New England Collection.
