Trajan. A.D. 98-117. AE quadrans (16.10 mm, 2.73 g, 1 h). Rome mint, struck A.D. 101. [IMP] CAES TRAIAN AVG GERM, diademed bust of bearded Hercules right / S - C, club, extra letters (?) above. Cf. RIC II 699 var. (uncertain letters in reverse field). Rough VF, thick green/brown patina/encrustation (approximately "uncleaned") spot of incipient BD on reverse.
