Canada Montreal, PQ- Royal Bank of Canada $20 2.1.1913 Ch.# 630-12-12 PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ. A fresh and original example, with only mild circulation atop original paper. The locomotive depicted is an articulated Mallet, an iconic American locomotive, which would make it a strange choice for a Canadian banknote as Canada did not manufacture Mallet locomotives. This is a high denomination, uncommon in any grade, but prized in this excellent state of preservation.
