Southern Rhodesia Southern Rhodesia Currency Board 5 Pounds 1.1.1948 Pick 11ds Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. The iconic £5 note for Southern Rhodesia features Victoria Falls on the back. For this date, 1948, only two prefixes and therefore only 200,000 notes were issued. This Specimen was created for the C/10 prefix, which features the signatures of Ormond Gordon and Arthur William Beadle (and not E.T. Fox as attributed on the PMG holder).
