Serial Number 1 Curacao Curacaosche Bank 100 Gulden 1918 Pick Unlisted PMG Choice Uncirulated 63. The 100 Gulden was typically and historically the highest denomination banknote of the series that was used in normal transactions, as the sheer value of the 250 and 500 Gulden rendered them out of reach for individuals. A mere 1,000 notes were printed for 1918 and 1,000 for 1920, all of which have been officially redeemed by the Curacaosche Bank. This example, however, is both fully issued and extant, and may or may not be included in the official tally due to the fact that it is serial number 0001 and part of that first set. No folds are present on this incredible banknote. Minor stains are mentioned for accuracy.
