Israel Israel Government 50 Mils ND (1948) Pick 6 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. This interesting small change note was nicknamed "Shitkhim", which is Hebrew for carpet. Metallic coinage was scarce in the new State of Israel, so these notes were needed to aide commerce.
