George III (1760 - 1820), 1799 halfpenny, Soho mint, Birmingham. Obv: Laureate head facing right. Rev: Britannia seated facing left, ship with 6 relief gunports. S. 3778. Some surface marks otherwise Extremely Fine. Also included in this lot is a George III, 1807 halfpenny in Good Very Fine and a George III 1806 or 1807 halfpenny with an advertising countermark by 'Lloyd's weekly newspaper' in fair condition.
