Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.38 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 119-125. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, laureate bust right, wearing aegis / P M TR P COS III, galley rowed left by oarsmen: at the bow a mast raking forward with flag and sails attached, under full sail, at the stern is an arched cabin under a curved aplustre. RIC II 113 var. (bust type); RSC 1174 var. (same). VF, toned.
