Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.40 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 119-125. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN H ADRIANVS AVG, laureate and draped bust right / P M TR P CO S III, galley rowed left by one oarsman: at the bow a mast raking forward with flag and sails attached, under full sail, at the stern is a stern-post and an arched cabin under a curved aplustre, in between is cross-hatching. RIC II 113 var. (bust type); RSC 1174 var. (same). VF, toned.
