Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.48 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 128-132. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P, laureate head right / CO S III, galley rowed right by four oarsmen: at the bow a mast raking forward with flag and sails attached, under full sail, at the stern is a hortator and an arched cabin under a curved aplustre. RIC II 352; RSC 445. Near VF, toned.
