Opitz-pg. 171. A belt of cowire shells fastened end on end to a bent wooden stem. The shells range from about 1 in. to 1/2 in. in diameter. According to Charles Opitz, these belts were still in use in the Village of Kandangei when he visited in 1973. Intact, but the wood stem has snapped in one place. Contains approximately 180 shells..
