Steal. Small rectangular 1 1/4 X 2 1/2 in. Engraved identification number "V 37136" on face. Features a tiny engraving of an 1805 Mexico 8 Reales showing both sides, but with the reverse overlapping the obverse. Also a fine engraving of an early sidewheel steamship as well as the word "CASH". Probably a transfer die for the base vignettes on an undetermined banknote. Scratches on reverse.
