20 pieces in lot. Includes Chinese bronze "ant nose" and "fish" money, as well as (2) bamboo tally tokens. From the Thailand/Cambodia area, there are (2) "tiger tongue" pieces and (2) "leech money" Lat coins, (1) being a RARE variety with six countermarks (four on the front and two on the back). There is a nice example of "hoe money" from Mexico and what appears to be a bronze axe head. (10) fascinating examples of primitive currency from around the world. Retail value of about $800.
