Barac-202; Vernon & Werlich-unlisted. A three armed, six pointed white enamel star with balls on each point, central medallion with concentric red, white and blue enameled circles and a gold disc at center showing the Gallic Cock, the red circle inscribed "PATRIE ET LIBERTE"; Reverse: Inscription "DONNE PAR LE ROI DES FRANCAIS/ 1830/ 27. 28 29 JUILLET" on concentric red and white rings and central blue enamel circle, the whole superimposed on a wreath of oak and suspended from a castle/crown hanger. The ribbon is 28 X 75 mm blue with narrow red stripes near the edges silk moire ribbon, somewhat soiled. The piece suffers from minor enamel loss to the green wreath, which is absolutely typical of this delicate medal.EXTREMELY FINE.
