GERMAN EMPIRE. Personal Military Archive of Prussian Soldier & Reservist Christoph Nickstadt (1865-?).
31 pieces in lot. Includes: 1890 active duty discharge document and (5) sepia professional group photos of the units in which he served (one showing Nickstadt and his fellow soldiers disassembling a cannon). There are also (15) metal and fabric insignia from his Altona-based units, veterans societies and the German Red Cross. Included, but unrelated are (3) Ecuadorian coins with their reverse planed off and fine miniature scenes painted on. Also contains a group of (7) old American military and sharpshooting medals, one signed "TIFFANY". SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.EXTREMELY FINE-ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
